Seeking to achieve a seamless integration between old and new, this contemporary extension involved reconfiguring an awkward arrangement of closed off spaces to create an additional bathroom, open plan kitchen and living area extending to the rear courtyard. The use of finishes such as soft white joinery and paint colours & travertine laid in a cross weave pattern achieved a smooth transition from existing front spaces to the contemporary extension.
The scope of services included interior design and documentation of an extension to accommodate a new kitchen, bathroom and living area, and the renovation of an existing bathroom. Services also included council approvals, tender and management of trades on site.
