Stacey Kouros DesignSydney-based interior designer Stacey Kouros known for infusing complex colour palettes, contemporary & classic forms and unique interior detailing into her distinctive work, which includes a raft of high-end residential, retail, commercial and hospitality clients. Strongly influenced by a mixture of contemporary and classic interior styling, Stacey describes her design style as modern, eclectic and vibrant. Stacey’s design philosophy & company ethos is to create unique and tailored spaces which enrich the experience of working & living, and adding value to the client’s brand or property.
Stacey graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture at the University of New South Wales in 2003. She then spent five and half years working alongside one of Sydney’s most prominent designers. Here she was able to work on a number of interesting residential, commercial retail and hospitality projects, several of which were nominated or finalists for Australian design awards and featured in interior magazines such as Belle, Vogue, House & Garden, and Inside Out. Stacey Kouros Design has been featured in several design publications including Belle, Real Living, and her interiors have been included in House & Garden’s top 50 rooms of 2010, 2011 and 2012 consecutively as well as many other publications.
Stacey Kouros Design was recently shortlisted in House & Garden’s “Top 50 rooms of 2012 awards” for colour in design. Prior to founding Stacey Kouros Design in February 2009, Stacey appeared on the Channel 9 TV show ‘Home Made’, securing her reputation as a formidable Australian design talent on the rise. In July 2012, Stacey became brand ambassador for household brand Carpet Court Australia, launching their new “love the look” national marketing campaign. Stacey Kouros Design specialises in all aspects of the interior design process including concept design, authority & council approvals, documentation & detailing, decoration and consultation services.
